Since the 1990s I’ve witnessed terrible human suffering. German public TV often propelled me to cover stories that have deeply affected the world we live in. I almost always worked alongside Cameraman Constantin Titineanu and Film Editor Andreas Lambert.
Some of our stories are not easy viewing; The Children of the Holocaust, Children suffering from HIV in Romania, Sexual abuse in the Catholic Church, Agent Orange and it’s legacy in Vietnam to name a few. It’s imperative to shed light on such atrocities so the victims are not lost in history, but instead honoured for their strength and sacrifice.
